Redfish Fishing in the Louisiana Marsh
From early October through late December, the Shallow Water Expeditions team heads west to target giant redfish and black drum in the marshes of coastal Louisiana. This seasonal fishery covers the east side of the Mississippi River Delta, from the Biloxi Marsh down to Venice, including some of the most productive redfish water in the world.
These remote marsh systems offer sight fishing in shallow water for oversized redfish in the 20 to 40 pound class. Whether you’re a returning angler or booking your first marsh trip, this is a world-class destination with unforgettable shots at truly massive fish.
