December Cold Front

Well we have had our first “real” cold front of the year, tonight the plants will get covered and the heat will get turned up!  Along w the cold temps the front has brought strong North winds. This wind direction helps the already low tides become even lower and concentrates redfish along very specific edges. When the redfish get stacked along these edges, we can hunt their “backs” and “tails”! The days after the fronts pass and winds die we will be looking to find Bull reds on the surface, it doesn’t happen everyday but when it does its incredible!  Just make sure if your headed down to the coast to pack a few extra layers…brett-dierlam-eastpoint-low-res reds-eating-on-top-low-res tails-low-res
